Banff
We traveled from Jasper to Banff by motorcoach (aka "bus") and made a number of stops along the way in and around Banff National Park, Canada's oldest (1885) national park. The town of Banff, located in he province of Alberta, is absolutely delightful and surrounded by the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. We stayed at the Banff Park lodge pictured below.
One of the highlights of our tour of Banff National Park was a gondola ride up to the top of Sulphur Mountain (7486 ft.) where we had a spectacular view of the Bow Valley and surrounding mountains.
